WinterFest begins with “Santa’s Lake Ridge Parade” from 11 a.m. to Noon. The parade is organized and sponsored by “Santa’s Old Bridge Parade Inc.” and begins at the corner of Minnieville Road and Harbor Drive in the former VDOT lot. The parade moves north on Harbor Drive, passes the Review Stand, turns into the Tackett’s Mill Center at the McDonalds, and circles down to the beautiful Lakeside. Tackett’s Mill’s Winter Wonderland lasts until 2 pm and includes a meet and greet with Santa, plus a parade award ceremony, live music, treats, and giveaways.
